The premiere of Boris Pavlovich play "The Language of Birds" will take place at the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. Actors of Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater and people with autism will play on the same stage.
Research theater project will become a signal to society about how to communicate and to help special people can not only through charitable projects, but also in the process of co-creation. The performance delivered by professionals BDT together with students and teachers of the Center for people with autism "Anton is right here."
In the section "Theatre", which is supervised by director Andrew Moguchy, will hold separate round table "Social Theatre: history, international experience, perspectives of development". The event is dedicated to the social theater - a relatively new direction of the theater, which helps people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups of society to adapt to the modern world.
Members and guests during all three days of the Forum will be able to attend the premiere performances and master classes by well-known theatrical figures. For example, on the training stage of BDT Adrian Jackson will hold a creative meeting titled "Theatre of the Oppressed, Augusto Boal: Theory and Practice."
Theatre Lensoviet will show sketches of performances by students of the inclusive theater laboratory "So- edinenie". Within two months, directors, teachers and artists leading theater schools in the country worked with actors with sensory, mental and physical specialities and conducted inclusive trainings for them. Together, they managed to create some unique performances based on classical works.
In addition the creative team of the Moscow theater named after Mikhail Bulgakov, with the support of the company "MegaFon" will introduce in St. Petersburg, a unique performance of "Wolke" for visually impaired and blind children. Performance 5D or as it is called the play invisible is a staging that can not be seen, but can be heard and even touched. Unusual presentation will take place within the walls of boarding school №1 named after KK Groth on 15th and 16th of December.
At the end of the Forum there will be the presentation of the first volume of the handbook "The repertoire of the Russian Drama" - a joint project of the Russian State Library of Arts, the National Library and the St. Petersburg State Theatre Library.
