The work process on the cinema almanac "St. Petersburg. Selfie." is coming to its end. Four stories out of seven about women in St. Petersburg have already been filmed. Producer Natalia Drozd told about the joint project of "Lenfilm" and "СTB” Channel companies as a part of the "Cinema" section at the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.

-St. Petersburg is thought to be very cold and distant, - tells Natalia. It was decided this way by men. We decided to look at the city from another perspective and asked seven most famous women director to film a short story about this city.

Renata Litvinova, Dunya Smirnova and Anna Parmas will start shooting after the New Year holidays. Six short films are telling us stories about contemporary women living in the Northern Capital. The seventh -"To save Iosif" by Renata Litvinova is about Petersburg physics-poets who travel back in time to see the famous trial process of "parasite Brodskiy". The audience will be able to see the premiere at October-November of 2016.
