Within the framework of IV St.Petersburg international cultural forum the nationwide action "Patron of the Year" took place. The commission of experts awarded the honorary title a Russian businessmn and the founder of the charitable foundation "Art, Science and Sports" Alisher Usmanov. Also the Deputy Minister of Culture Alla Manilova presented commemorative awards for philanthropic activities to seven representatives of small and medium businesses from different regions of Russia.

The prize "Patron of the Year", established by the Ministry of Culture in 2014, is a measure of public recognition for support and financial help of bright projects, results of which enriched Russian culture. A lot of respected cultural figures came to congratulate the winner and laureates of this action. Irina Antonova, President of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, expressed her gratitude: "The help given by Alisher Usmanov to thetres, sports and museums allows us to rightly say that Alisher Usmanov is a great patron". Also Vladimir Urin,  NikolayTsiskaridze, Boris Eifman took part in the event.

The award ceremony was ebelished by beautiful performances of creative groups. Musical company "Bis-Kvit" choreographic group of the St. Petersburg theater "Leningrad Center" wearing clothes of brand Victoria Andreyanova, Children's Choir of Television and Radio of St. Petersburg perfomed in front of the audience.
