On Tuesday, December 15, at the Business venue there was a round-table discussion "State Private Partnership on the example of franchise: an independent bookstore LLC «Torgovyi Dom «Biblio-Globus», Non-profit partnership «Gildia Knizgnikov". Within the framework of the discussion the signing of a general agreement between state libraries and private book companies. The event was held during the Business venu of IV St.Petersburg international cultural forum.

The participants of the event were President of NP "Guild of Scribes" Boris Esenkin, the leading Spesialist of Trade House "Biblio-Globus" Gennady Popov, General Director of the Russian State Library (RSL) Alexander Visly, General Director of the All-Russia State Library of Foreign Literature (LFL) Vadim Duda, General Director of the State Public Scientific and Technical Library (SPSTL) Yakov Shriberg, Rector of the Diplomatic Academy Yevgeny Bazhanov.

Heads of state libraries and representatives of private libraries summed up the initiative of Russian Ministry of Culture for the provision of additional services to readers. Participants of the meeting noted the importance of cooperation between publishing houses and libraries, the effectiveness of their cooperation for the development of Russian science, culture and education.

The key event of the meeting was the signing of agreements on cooperation between NP "Guild of the scribes," Trade House "Biblio-Globus", the Russian State Library, the Russian State Library of Foreign Literature and the State Public Scientific and Technical Library. The purpose of these agreements is to enhance cooperation and the introduction of innovative technologies in Russian libraries.

The meeting ended with the ceremony of extinguishing a unique series of stamps "Russian Nobel laureates for literature", dedicated to the closing of the Year of Literature.
