According to the director of the International Delphic Committee Vladimir Ponyavin, World Delphic Games 2016 will be held in St. Petersburg. He announced this today within the framework of the Business Venue of IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.

- In 2016 a lot of hard work lies ahead of us. First of all, we are talking about the XV Youth Delphic Games of Russia, which will be held in April in Tyumen and III World Delphic Games will be held in St. Petersburg.

Today, within the framework of the Business Venue of the cultural Forum the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the National Delphic Council and several partners, including the information portal "Rabota.ru" Russian Creative Union of Culture Employees, as well as  companies "Puteshestvennik-Traveller" and "NEP". Agreements should contribute to the support of young artists and the promotion of the Delphic Games in Russia.

Delphic Games are complex competitions of talented young artists. Ancient Greece is considered to be the homeland of the games, but the first mention is related to 582 BC.

Currently, the organisation and the realization of games in Russia are conducted by National Delphic Council, founded in 199.
