Closing ceremony of the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum was held yesterday, 16 December, at the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Here for the first time was awarded the prize of the Directorate of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum named after Anatoly Lunacharsky.

A welcoming speech for the guests of the ceremony was held by the minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky, and St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko. Then the workers of the industry of culture of the Russian Federation, representatives of non-creative professions, presented an award for merits in development of cultural industries. Closing ceremony was held by TV and radio hos Alexander Malich.

Winner of the award in the category "Employee of the folklore, ethnographic, scientific and research center for the study of popular culture" has become Galina Berezina, in the category "Employee of movie studio" - Paul Shuvalov, in the category "Employee of the concert organization" - Julia Shalisheva, "Employee of the circus" - Vladimir Malygin, "Teacher of children's art schools, children's music and art schools" - Anastasia Ermakova, "Employee of cultural and leisure institutions" - Zinaida Hoodie, "Library personnel" - Galina Volkova, "Employee of the theater" - Veronica Chumak and Roxanne Szasz, "Employee of the museum" - Elena Fedorycheva.

At the end of the ceremony guests saw the second act of the ballet "The Nutcracker" at the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
