On 5th and 16th December the St. Petersburg State Children's Music Theater "Zazerkalie" will premiere lyric opera in two acts "Iolanta".

At the end of 2015, which was officially declared the Year of Tchaikovsky, performing this piece is especially significant for the theater "Through the Looking Glass."

"Iolanta" - Tchaikovsky's last opera - an enthusiastic hymn to love triumphant, offers the best aspects of the human soul, carrying with itself the light and joy of learning.
