One of the highlights of the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum will be the award ceremony of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation "Philanthropist of the Year 2015". Guests and nominees are expected on December 14th in the Marble Hall of Russian Ethnographic Museum. The ceremony will be attended by Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matviyenko and Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky.
St. Petersburg TV and radio host Alexander Malich will lead the award. Spectators can expect not only the announcement of the winners, but also the performance of musical ensemble "bis-quit", choreographic group "Leningrad Center" in costumes by designer Victoria Andreyanova, as well as the composition by the St. Petersburg Chamber Boys Choir.
Award "Philanthropist of the Year" this year is awarded for the second time. Last year the award was held in Moscow. Get rewarded means to deserve recognition for their support and financial assistance to vivid projects and remarkable achievements that have had a significant impact on the development of Russian culture.
