In the section "Ballet and Dance" at the IV St. Petersburg International Forum will take part Alkis Raftis - Doctor of Sciences, academician, writer, president of the International Dance Council of UNESCO and the dance theater "Dora Stratu" in Athens.
Alkis Raftis taught in many universities of the world, including the University of Patras, University of Athens, University of Paris-Dauphine and Sorbonne University. He is the author and editor of dozens of works devoted to dance, organized numerous congresses, lectures, festivals and workshops.
On the Cultural Forum guest from Greece will participate in the round table dedicated to the 70th anniversary of UNESCO, "Heritage Classic - Museum or Theatre?", Which will take place on December 14 at the Mariinsky Theatre. Leading figures of the dance world will discuss the issue of conservation, restoration and adaptation of classical masterpieces Petipa Burnovilya, Perry and other great choreographers.
