Olga Golodets and Vladimir Medinsky will manage Russian domestic tourism

 

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev appointed head of the Coordinating Council for the development of domestic tourism Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets and Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky. The corresponding decree was issued yesterday, December 6. In addition, the board includes representatives of the State Duma, the Federation Council, the federal executive authorities, as well as experts from educational and governmental organizations that are associated with the development of domestic tourism.

 

It is the tourist potential of Russia that will be discussed by the participants of the III St. Petersburg International tourism forum, which will take place from 15 to 17 December. Experts from 70 regions of the country will be at round tables and discussions, and moderate the meeting will be the most well-known industry representatives: the Deputy Minister of Culture of Russia Alla Manilowa, head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safonov and his deputies - Sergei Korneev and Alexey Konyushkov, as well as other experts.

 

The purpose of the St. Petersburg International Tourist Forum is to find and to help to realize the best ideas for the development of the tourism industry and to attract investment in it. The Forum will conclude a number of important agreements and will discuss the bill, allowing employers to offset the cost of holidays in Russia worth up to 50 thousand rubles to its employees, and also to make a tax deduction of the cost of tour ticket Russia.
