Vladimir Pozner will come to the cultural Forum

 

Vladimir Pozner, well-known Russian journalist, writer, broadcaster and the first president of the Russian Television Academy will take part in the section "Museums and exhibition projects" at the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. He will be the main interviewer in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the international edition of The Art Newspaper on 15 December at 4pm in the Hermitage Theatre.

 

The discussion will take place in the form of artistic investigation on the theme "Why you need art?". Four invited speakers - "witnesses" will speak for 10 minutes and another 10 minutes will answer the questions, "of the investigator". At the end of the discussion "judge", sitting on a chair under the rays of spotlights, will summarize this improvised judicial inquiry. Vladimir Pozner will ask the questions, and  Mikhail Piotrovsky, Hermitage director, head of section "Museum and exhibition projects," will be moderator of the event.

 

Speakers at the meeting will be a literary critic and co-founder of Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation Irina Prokhorova, film director Alexey Uchitel, professor, biologist and linguist Tatyana Chernigova and marketolog, strategist and philosopher Garrett Johnston.
