Panel discussion “Like saves the world. The role of new communication technologies in culture”

Official event flow / Mass communications

15.12.2015 16:30-18:00

Dvortsovaya sq., 6/8, The General Staff Building, Courtyard 4

Description

Modern mass communications space is becoming more interactive and accessible. In order to loudly declare themselves and appeal to the world, now do not have to be neither "master of thoughts", not even a professional writer, an artist or a journalist - it is enough to have access to the Internet. But is this accessibility good and whether it helps to preserve the cultural heritage and the development of genuine art?

The round table participants - experts in the field of communication technologies and intellectuals - will exchange views on how to "information revolution" affect the spiritual world and intellectual development of modern man, and whether it can contribute to the cultural growth of the individual and society as a whole.
