The round-table will bring together major theatre practitioners: Russian and foreign stage directors will discuss one of the hottest topics of the today’s theatre arts –the problem of interaction of the modern theatre and artistic classical text, auteur theatre and interpretation.

Due to collision and reasoning of various approaches and opinions, a debate field will be formed which reflects the breadth of intertextual links and interpretation strategies of the modern theatrical culture.
